Works great... for a while

Got this dishwasher last year, around thanksgiving. Ran fine, no issues for about a month. Then, the arm would get stuck and not spin. I eventually got it to spin (by pulling on it) and it ran perfect for another 4 - 5 months.
Then, I noticed a big crack in the front of the door... Figured it was just a visual problem so I didn't let it bother me...
Now, however, the whole window part on the door is falling off, inside and outside. Still runs, and it doesn't even leak, but I will be replacing it very soon..
Life Cycle = less than one year =[

I had mine for about 2 months before I noticed a crack in the door and the rinse agent would leak all over the counter and floor. The dishwasher was still usable without the rinse agent, so I've had it now for 9 months until the faucet piece flew off the faucet and the little rubber washer went missing. No one sells the piece and I've tried contacting Danby several times, but they don't answer their emails or answer their phones. I was on hold for over 30 minutes before I hung up.
DO NOT ORDER DANBY!

I read the other review here, and couldn't believe that the same thing had happened to our dishwasher. It worked great for a few months and then we noticed a crack down the front of it. Thought it was just aesthetic, but then one day it cracked on the inside of the front door, and water and soap were leaking everywhere.

If your looking for a good dishwasher , dont look here ! I cannot even believe a huge company like Target even sells this piece of junk! The whole bottom of mine cracked after 11 months use and almost started a fire in my home !
And forget about refunds ! Target wont help , and the company will just give you the runaround ! You just spend your money and then get screwed ! Very Sad ! I gave it one star because I had to choose ! I would like to give it a garbage can sign ! Thats where it belongs ! Shame on you Target for selling such a piece of junk !

I purchased this dishwasher august of 07 and it still works great. The plastic is falling apart and in pieces, like everyone else the first thing to go was the front door, small crack after about 6 months. I do clean it every so often, and it has cracked in different locations. The good news it works great and the dishes come out perfect. Oh about the arm, I found that there are very small jet holes and the get clogged. So I used a toothpick to unclog the holes. Perfect working order.

Guess who had the exact same problem with their dishwasher that everyone else has? ME! The machine worked great for 7 months - we used it maybe twice a week. Then the door started falling apart, we got an E3 error, something about the hardware being a piece of junk. I agree with another review: why is Target selling this BAD product? ANSWER: after 90 days it isn't their problem. PLEASE do not buy this at all!!! PLEASE!

I've had my Danby countertop dishwasher for almost three years, now. I'm sorry to read that other's have had trouble, but this has not been my experience If anything, I'm amazed at the value. At such a low price, I expected something sort of weak - able to handle cups and glasses and sandwich plates, but nothing too demanding. This couldn't be further from the truth. not only doe sit handle all my plates and cutlery but it does a great job with my roasting pan - even after I've made a turkey. It's basically a full-powered dishwasher, only cut in half. Hooking it up to the sink is ridiculously easy. I love this machine, and love that it's small enough for my little kitchen. I have NO COMPLAINTS.

I bought a danby from target over a year ago. The model looked a little different than this one, maybe they changed it. Mine has been working well for over a year for me, my husband, and my son. One thing that is annoying is that you have to wipe down plates before you put them in, otherwise the food will crust on, but when I had a regular dishwasher I found that you still had to do that. The spray arm has stopped spinning also, but like someone else said i just jiggled it around and it started working again. Maybe the older version of this dishwasher is better? We've been really happy with ours.

This is the ultimate time saver for a lazy guy like me. If there's one thing I really hate, it's doing the dishes, and this was a great solution for me.
